This tactic is one of the basics, both in football and in FUBA. The highest you can position your defensive line is at the midfield. Make sure you have at least the number of defenders as in your formation placed in the middle of the midfield. Also move your wide players upwards on the pitch so they don’t ruin the defensive line. This way the opponent has fewer areas to pass the ball around because he can’t move to an offside position. If the opponent manages to break past your high defensive line you still have time to defend before the opponent can get close to your goal. This tactic should give you opportunities to steal the ball from your opponent or make him fail a control check.
